About Spaworld
Spaworld is one of the largest public baths in Japan. While technically Spaworld is not a chainstore, its size warrants inclusion as a chainstore on this website. Some would term it an aquatic themepark, rather than a public bath. The building consist of seven floors, with three bathing floors. Two of these floors consist of sex segregated baths and the top floor houses a mixed pool area with several water slides and various pools.
The two sex segragated bathing floors are themed. The fourth floor is dubbed the Europa Zone and consists of various Europian style baths, including Ancient Roman, Greece, Atlantis and Finland styled baths. The Asia Zone on the sixth floor consists of Bali, India, Persia and Islam style baths. Because of the different set-up of these floors they are periodically switched between the sexes.
The remaining floors house various different services, including a gym, a beauty parlor, various restaurants and massage parlors and a large relaxing area with tatami mats and comfortable chairs.
